If you find birds in need of care in the Dunedin area, please contact Bird Rescue Dunedin.

If you are in New Zealand and have found a native bird, you can also contact the Department of Conservation (DOC) at 03 477 0677 during working hours, or after working hours call the DOC emergency hotline at 0800 362 468.

If you are located elsewhere, please try to locate your closest Wildlife Rescue Center or Wildlife Rehabilitator (see below for help).
